SYLPHAERO
Unlike its competitors, Sylphaero does not attempt to electrify aircraft propulsion by replacing jet engines with electromagnetic motors turning a propeller. Instead, they electrify the jet engines themselves.
Their design is revolutionary: rather than burning fuel to heat the air inside jet engines, they use electricity to heat the air to temperatures over 20,000°C, converting it into plasma without emitting CO2. This innovative electrothermal engine enables electric aircraft to reach unprecedented speeds, including supersonic and hypersonic capabilities.
Context
As part of their fundraising and customer search, Sylphaero wanted to present their long-term vision, once the product was finished. We started the project with a 2D plan and precise references.
Objective: to inspire dreams, evoke a passion for aeronautics and show what the product will look like.
This is the type of 2D plan we started with.

Work
For Sylphaero, we created a video with voice-over in English, including archive footage. We went as far as we could with 3D modeling and modern effects.
The product is progressively assembled in detail, while the voice-over describes the issues addressed by the product, followed by an explanation of how it works, and finally an opening to the future.
The music and the actor's voice start off softly. Gradually, a power and depth inspired by epic cinematographic works takes hold.
We worked closely with project management software to master every visible detail of the product. Non-destructive modeling techniques were used to ensure that every desired detail was faithfully reproduced.
The product is shown in a variety of situations to evoke the breadth of the market.
Sound design was added for an extra touch of realism.
A video that has been turned into multiple assets, used for a wide range of occasions.
Benefits
The video allows Sylphaero to:
Explain their project project in 2 minutes privately to prospects and investors
Used static visuals for press releases and articles
Easily shares the project in international contexts
Facilitate meetings with investors
Discover areas for improvement in product design
Quickly move on to questions that go beyond the basics
Spatial Nick does an excellent job transforming ideas into computer-generated images, enabling us to communicate more effectively with our partners.
